Concordia picks up first baseball win of the season

AUBURNDALE, Fla.—Five batters each produced two hits to lift Concordia to a 9-4 college baseball win over Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Wednesday.

Nate Hoeft went 2-for-5 with one RBI, Turner Storm went 2-for-3 with one RBI, Nate Leintz went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs, Grant Toivonen went 2-for-4 with one RBI and Austin Ver Steeg went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Ver Steeg was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits and one run in six innings, with eight strikeouts. Concordia improves to 1-3 while Rose-Hulman falls to 0-4.
