Dragon swimmers miss finals at national meet

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Minnesota State Moorhead sophomore Breah Anderson narrowly missed out on qualifying for the finals in the 50 freestyle Thursday during the opening day of the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.

Anderson finished 21st in 23.45 seconds, which her second-fastest time ever in the event. She missed qualifying for the 'B' finals by .09 seconds. Teammate Erin Sullivan finished 41st in the 50 freestyle in 23.80 seconds.

Sullivan will compete in the 100 backstroke prelims Friday.
