Sioux Falls hands RedHawks fifth consecutive loss

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.—The Sioux Falls Canaries defeated the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 2-1 Saturday in American Association baseball at Sioux Falls Stadium before 3,185 fans.

Chris Grayson went 2-for-4 with an RBI to lead the Canaries, while Mike Hart also added an RBI.

Chris Jacobs blasted a solo homer for the RedHawks, his 12th home run this season.

RedHawks starting pitcher Brandon Barker (2-4) allowed two earned runs on six hits with a walk and six strikeouts through six solid innings to take the loss.

The RedHawks (42-36) have lost five games in a row.
