Kansas City hits home run in 10th inning to knock off RedHawks
KANSAS CITY, Kan.—Noah Perio Jr. belted a solo walk-off home run in the 10th inning to lift the Kansas City T-Bones to a 9-8 victory against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Thursday in American Association baseball at T-Bones Stadium before 3,416 fans.
The T-Bones (51-31) rallied for three runs in the eighth inning to help force extra innings. Perio Jr. finished 2-for-5 with two RBIs, including another solo home run in the eighth.
Keury De La Cruz hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning to lead the RedHawks, who fell to 45-37 overall. F-M Charlie Valerio went 3-for-5 and scored a run.
