St. Paul Saints cruise to victory against the RedHawks

ST. PAUL—Max Murphy and Zach Walters drove in two runs each to lead the St. Paul Saints to a 10-1 victory against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Friday in American Association baseball before 8,579 fans at CHS Field.

Saints first baseman Brady Shoemaker finished 3-for-3 with an RBI and scored two runs. The RedHawks (45-38) have lost two consecutive games. The Saints (49-36) have won four in a row and are in first place in the North Division. F-M is three games out of first place in the North.

St. Paul, which had 18 hits, limited the RedHawks to four hits. Brennan Metzger, Keury De La Cruz, Charlie Valerio and Maikol Gonzalez each had one hit for F-M.
