RedHawks lose third consecutive game

WINNIPEG—The Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks' playoff chances took another hit Wednesday night as they fell 3-2 to Winnipeg in American Association baseball at Shaw Park with 4,677 in attendance.

Andrew Sohn went 2-for-4 and drove home all three of Winnipeg's runs.

Tim Colwell went 2-for-5 to lead the Redhawks, while Leo Pina had one run and one RBI. Brennan Metzger added two hits and a run.

RedHawks starting pitcher Trey McNutt (7-7) gave up two earned runs on seven hits with three walks and seven strikeouts through seven innings in a no decision.

F-M (49-46) is now six games behind Gary SouthShore for second place and the final playoff spot in the North Division.
