Cobbers rack up wins at MIAC Outdoor championships

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Concordia men's and women's track and field teams participated in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships on Saturday.

Ben Vickstrom earned a second-place finish in the 100 meters for Cobbers men with a time of 11.05 seconds and first place in the 200 meters clocking in at 22.17.

Connor Johnson threw for 189-1 grabbing second place in the javelin.

Hannah Fordahl, Ruth Peterson, Samantha Risan and Rochelle Hickerson teamed up for the 400-meter relay to run a time of 49.08 seconds landing third place for Cobbers women.

Hilary Thompson took second place in the long jump with a jump of 18-1¾ and first in the triple jump earning a 38-9 score.

Cherae Reeves threw for 46-8 to notch first place in the shot put.

Olivia Johnson claimed first place in javelin with a score of 136-9.
