FARGO - Saturday has been a long time coming for NDSU senior Greg Menard.

It's been 13 months since he tore his ACL, causing him to miss all of last season.

Now the All-American defensive end is back, eager to return to the field and pick up where he left off when the Bison face Cal Poly.

Menard sits seventh in school history with 28 sacks, head coach Chris Klieman told WDAY's Dom Izzo before the season began, Menard's goal is to become the school record holder with 42.

"Its going to be crazy. Just watching film I am just imagining myself out there if I was in their shoes running around. Just ready to get that first play and jitters out of the way and play football," Bison defensive end Greg Menard said.
