BOYS

Moorhead 5, Prior Lake 1

PRIOR LAKE, Minn.—Cole O'Connell netted a power play goal in the first period for his 100th career point in Moorhead's 5-1 win over Prior Lake on Friday at the Prior Lake Tournament.

Carter Randklev added two goals for the Spuds and Jack Stetz notched three assists.

Ty Trachsel scored a power play goal for Prior Lake in the second period.

Spuds goaltender Lance Leonard picked up 14 saves and the win.

Fargo North 5, Northern Lakes 2

THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.—Austin Streifel scored two goals to help leads Fargo North to a 5-2 victory against Northern Lakes on Friday at the Thief River Falls tournament.

Carson Segal, Mike Hallquist and Brandt Kolpack also scored goals for the Spartans. Chandler Ibach added three assists for North, which improved to 3-7-1 overall.

North Lakes scored the game's first two goals before the Spartans countered with five unanswered scores.

West Fargo 4, Park Rapids 2

FERGUS FALLS, Minn.—Tanner Nelson scored two goals to lead West Fargo to a 4-2 win over Park Rapids.

Braden Jacobson and Devin Wolf also each scored a goal for the Packers.

Thomas Melvin netted both of the Panther goals.

West Fargo Sheyenne 5, Willmar 0

LITTLE FALLS, Minn.—Sam Kramer scored two goals to lead West Fargo Sheyenne to a 5-0 shutout win over Willmar at the Little Falls Tournament.

Ryan Roth, Logan Schauer and Brady Braun also each scored a goal for Sheyenne, while Sterling Morin dished out two assists.

Winning goaltender Sean O'Connor recorded 19 saves.

GIRLS

Fargo North-South 4, New Ulm 3

SARTELL, Minn.—Fargo North-South scored two goals in the third period to rally for a 4-3 victory against New Ulm on Friday at the Sartell-Sauk Rapids Invitational.

Maria Sornsin and Abby Promersberger scored in the final period to help North-South overcome a 3-2 deficit heading in the third.

Avery Myers and Graysen Myers also scored goals for North-South, which improved to 9-2 overall.

West Fargo United 5, Sartell-Sauk Rapids 4

SARTELL, Minn.—Madison Hjelden scored a hat trick to lead West Fargo United to a 5-4 victory against Sartell-Sauk Rapids on Friday at the Sartell-Sauk Rapids Invitational.

Courtney Walsh and Alexis Lemley also scored goals for West Fargo. Lemley's score was the game winner. West Fargo United improved to 8-3-1 overall.
