Moorhead 2, Duluth East 1 OT

DULUTH, Minn.—Moorhead defeated Duluth East 2-1 in overtime Tuesday in girls high school soccer.

Lauren Hodny scored in overtime in the 87th minute for the Spuds on an assist from Elise McNab. Maddie Etter also netted a goal for Moorhead on an assist from Hodny.

Grace Hanson and Emily Soukup each recorded three saves for the Spuds.


St. Michael-Albertville 2, Moorhead 1

MOORHEAD—St. Michael-Albertville defeated Moorhead 2-1 Tuesday in boys high school soccer.

Saif Allawi scored the Spuds' lone goal.

Grand Forks Red River 2, Fargo North 0

GRAND FORKS—Grand Forks Red River broke a scoreless tie in the 62nd minute en route to a 2-0 victory over Fargo North.

Shayan Rasouli scored to put Red River up 1-0, then Suraj Manger netted a goal in the 71st minute to give the Roughriders a 2-0 lead.

Red River rose to 1-2-2 overall, while North fell to 0-6-0 on the season.

Fargo South 2, Grand Forks Central 1

FARGO—Fargo South topped Grand Forks Central 2-1 to earn its first win and hand the Knights their first loss of the season.

South rose to 1-1-4 overall, while Central fell to 4-1-0 on the season.

West Fargo 1, Fargo Davies 1

FARGO—West Fargo and Fargo Davies ended in a 1-1 tie in a game played at Fargo Shanley.

Daniel Collins scored for the Packers, while West Fargo goalie Tommy Klein recorded four saves.

Jack Olson netted a goal for Davies on an assist from Casey Haldis. Eagles goalie Noah Sahr tallied two saves.

Both West Fargo and Davies moved to 4-0-1 overall.
