Concordia men's soccer beats Simpson


MOORHEAD—The Concordia College men's soccer team defeated Simpson College 3-0 Sunday, Sept. 9, at Jake Christiansen Stadium, with 306 in attendance.

Concordia took seven shots, had four saves, two corner kicks and nine fouls. Austin Peterson scored in the first period, assisted by Justin Froslie. Tyson Aberle scored in the second, assisted by Aronah Mukhtar and Froslie. Mukhtar followed with a third score, assisted by Froslie.

Simpson took 14 shots, had three saves, six corner kicks and five fouls.

Concordia improved to 3-2-0 and Simpson fell to 2-2-0 overall.
