West Fargo 5, Fargo Shanley 1

FARGO — West Fargo defeated Fargo Shanley 5-1 Tuesday in Eastern Dakota Conference boys soccer.

Luke Noah scored one goal for Shanley, assisted by Owen Mears.

Lucas Simon and Daniel Collins both scored two goals for West Fargo. Enoch Gartel had two assists and Telvin Vah had one. Packers goalie Tommy Klein had four saves.

Deacons goalie Cam Hoff recorded 16 saves.

West Fargo improved to 7-2-1 overall, while Shanley fell to 3-4-2 overall.

Moorhead 7, East Grand Forks 0

MOORHEAD — Moorhead cruised to a 7-0 shutout victory over East Grand Forks in Minnesota boys high school soccer.

Jeron Sheldon scored three goals for the Spuds while Saif Allawi, Alhasan Alomar, Yousif Alhimani and William Vargas each added a goal. Caden Tiggs had four saves for the Spuds.

The Spuds improved to 5-2-1 overall, while East Grand Forks fell to 3-4 overall.

Grand Forks Central 6, Fargo North 3

FARGO — All nine goals were scored in the first half as Grand Forks Central defeated Fargo North 6-3.

William Lawson-Body Jr. scored two goals to lead Central.

Caden Headlee scored in the 17th minute for North. Jake Harmon scored in the 20th minute and Jacob Trageton netted a goal in the 28th minute.

Central improved to 5-3-0 overall, while North fell to 0-10-0 overall.

Fargo South 2, West Fargo Sheyenne 1

WEST FARGO — Fargo South edged West Fargo Sheyenne 2-1.

Gentile Irakoze and Gabe Borowicz each scored a goal for South, which improved to 4-2-4 overall.

Jacob Angus scored Sheyenne's goal. The Mustangs fell to 2-4-2 overall.

Grand Forks Red River 1, Fargo Davies 0

GRAND FORKS — Grand Forks Red River earned a 1-0 shutout victory over Fargo Davies, handing the Eagles their first loss this season.

Bikash Patnak scored the game's lone goal. Red River goalie Mason Thingvold tallied 11 saves.

Davies goalie Noah Sahr had five saves.

Red River improved to 3-3-3 overall, while Davies fell to 7-1-1 overall.
