West Fargo girls swim coach dismissed for 'inappropriate coaching practices'
WEST FARGO — West Fargo High School girls swimming coach Ronald Hehn has been fired.
Hehn was dismissed for what the school called "inappropriate coaching practices." He was in the midst of his first season as the varsity coach. "Mr. Hehn will not have any additional contact with student-athletes in any current or future role as a coach or educator in the West Fargo School District," the school said in an official statement. "West Fargo Public Schools is committed to providing all students a positive academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular experience."
School officials say they are continuing their investigation into the matter.
Barb Fisher, who coaches the Packers boys team, has been named interim coach of the girls program.
