Huber, Young both win NSIC honors in men's track and field

BURNSVILLE, Minn.—The Minnesota State Moorhead men's track team swept the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference outdoor athlete of the year awards, the league office announced Wednesday, May 16.

Senior Brian Huber was named men's field athlete of the year, while senior Josh Young was named men's track athlete of the year. It is the first time since 2015 one school has swept both awards.

Huber won the long jump at the NSIC Outdoor Championships with a school record leap of 25 feet, 11 ¼ inches. Young won the 800 meters and 1,500 meters at the NSIC Outdoor Championships last Saturday.
