Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer was on his way to Houston on Monday and will come off the disabled list, according to

Mauer has been sidelined for a month with a strained oblique muscle. He is reportedly scheduled to be activated for Monday night's game against the host Astros.

Mauer went 6-for-15 in four minor-league rehab games at Single-A Cedar Rapids.

After a slow start to the season, Mauer is batting .271 with two home runs and 28 RBIs. He had a 12-game hitting streak at the time of his injury.
