Northern Iowa powers past Bison on the volleyball court

MUNCIE, Ind.—Karlie Taylor had 15 kills and Piper Thomas added 14 to lead Northern Iowa to a 25-16, 25-22, 25-15 victory against North Dakota State on Saturday in NCAA Division I women's volleyball at the Ball State Active Ankle Classic.

Allie Mauch paced the Bison (2-8) with seven kills. Kalli Hegerle added five kills, 20 assists and three blocks. Kaylee Hanger led NDSU with 13 digs. She was named to the all-tournament team, averaging 3.6 digs per set.
