Brendan and Leane LaFrance of Moorhead both lost their voting rights due to felony drug convictions in 2006 in Minnesota. Brendan, a co-owner of Skill Cutz Barber Shop in Fargo, regained the right to vote this summer after serving 10 years on probation.
