Mark Pegg, a professor and fish ecologist at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, holds a large-channel catfish he tagged last week on the Red River near Selkirk, Manitoba. Pegg is faculty adviser for a tagging study underway along the Red River in which the university and Manitoba officials are collaborating.
