MOORHEAD - The board of directors of American Crystal Sugar Co. named Tom Astrup as president Wednesday. Astrup will assume the role immediately, according to a news release from American Crystal. Astrup, 47, has held several positions at American Crystal, including vice president of operations, vice president of finance and chief financial officer. He joined the company in 1994.
