THIEF RIVER FALLS, Minn.—Missed shots, turnovers and poor rebounding proved to be the perfect storm for the Ada-Borup boys basketball team Tuesday night. The top-seeded Cougars found themselves in a 12-point deficit with nine minutes remaining in their Minnesota Class A, Sub-Section 8 West championship game against second-seeded Stephen-Argyle. And although the Cougars nearly climbed out of that big hole—tying the game with 3 minutes, 52 seconds to play, they couldn't complete the comeback.
