FARGO — Police here made two arrests related to eight burglaries that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, July 27.
FARGO — A man who was shot by a Fargo police officer after allegedly threatening officers with a knife and later charged with two felonies, entered guilty pleas in Cass County District Court Thursday, July 26.
FARGO — According to court documents filed Wednesday, July 25, a Moorhead woman is being accused of making unauthorized purchases over $100,000 using her company card. Amy Renee Espeseth is charged in Cass County District Court with one felony count of theft of property and one felony count of misapplication of entrusted property from Fargo-Moorhead Builders and Traders Exchange, a Fargo-based organization where she was the former executive director.
MOORHEAD – A Moorhead woman is accused of sexually molesting a minor this month at a motel here. Shaniese Latrice Davis, 42, is charged with a felony count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 13.

FARGO — What reportedly started as an act of kindness by two people in downtown Fargo took a violent turn, with the man they tried to help now accused of assaulting them. Kenneth Lee Demarce, 52, of Fargo, was arraigned Friday, July 20, in Cass County District Court on charges of gross sexual imposition, aggravated assault, simple assault and two counts of terrorizing. On Dec. 17, police were asked to check on one of the victims and found her in her apartment with bruises on her face and other injuries, according to court documents.

MOORHEAD — The woman accused of trying to shoot a Minnesota State Patrol in March is now demanding a jury trial, according to court records. Melody Gray, 30, of Milwaukee, waived her omnibus hearing and pleaded not guilty to charges of first degree attempted murder of a peace officer, possession of a firearm and receiving stolen property in Clay County District Court Thursday, July 19, court records show. She is demanding a jury trial, the date for which is still to be determined.
FARGO — A North Dakota man will spend 70 years behind bars for crimes involving child pornography. Brent Daigle, 39, of Sutton, N.D., was sentenced Thursday, July 19, in federal court to 70 years in prison followed by lifetime supervised release for three counts of sexual exploitation of minors and one count of possession of child pornography, according to a United States Department of Justice news release
