WEST FARGO — The Red River Valley Fair is expanding to 10 days this year and will be held July 9-18, 2021.

Shortly after the fair's initial social media announcement of dates on Thursday morning, Jan. 7, it was also announced that country star Trace Adkins will headline the grandstand on July 17. The singer is best-known for hits "You're Gonna Miss This" and "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk."

The 2020 fair, which was scheduled for six days, was canceled due to concern over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Tickets go on sale for Adkins' concert at 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, for $25, which includes gate admission to the fair.
