Brave souls risk hypothermia for a good cause

FARGO- North Dakota Law Enforcement held their annual Polar Plunge to raise money for the state's Special Olympics.

The plunge happened right outside the Delta hotel in Fargo.

About 45 Plungers had to raise a minimum of $75 to jump in the freezing water.

WDAY's own Emily Olson, Bailey Vertin, and Sara Rudlang were there as well.

Organizers said they were looking at raising 8 to 10 thousand dollars this year.
