Angie Wieck

A little about me: I grew up on a small farm near Marion, North Dakota. I didn't venture too far away from home for college, earning degrees in business administration and English from the University of Jamestown. After a stint in accounting, I realized bean counting was not for me.

I joined The Forum as the assistant to the editor in 2004. While I continue to assist the editor on a number of projects today, my role has evolved quite a bit over the years. In 2008, I started writing about business part time in addition to my other duties. As a self-identified introvert, I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved meeting new people and sharing their stories. I was named business editor in 2017.

A few personal facts about me: I LOVE music from The Avett Brothers, Jason Isbell, The Highwomen and other folk artists. I dabble in mosaic art in my spare time. I'm a terrible cook, but an OK baker. I've been a proud resident of north Moorhead since 2017.

And for your oddball fact: I've never seen the movie "Titanic." No regrets.
