An open house to celebrate the 80th birthday of Arlene Lauf, Ulen, Minn., will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the VFW, Ulen. No gifts, please.
Arlene was born in LaMoure, N.D., to Albert and Myrtle Botner.
She was married to Donald Lauf and they have six children, Bobbie Monroe, Chicago; Jeri Wilmore, Battle Lake, Minn.; Mari Grafsgaard, Ulen; Greg Lauf, Fargo; Rod Lauf, Denver; and the late Donnie Lauf; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
