Abby Barton and Justin Valenti, Ewa Beach, Hawaii, announce their engagement.
Parents are the late Carey Barton, Tioga, N.D.; Lisa Suda, and Steve and Harlene Valenti, all of Fargo.
Abby graduated in 2006 from Shanley High School, Fargo, and in 2010 graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in business management. She is an information technology outsourcing service representative at Hewlett-Packard, Honolulu.
Justin graduated in 2006 from Fargo South High School and in 2011 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in emergency management. He is a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, Honolulu. He has also served with the Army National Guard since 2005.
A July 20 wedding is planned at Holy Cross Catholic Church, West Fargo, followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn, Fargo.
