North Dakota State opened up its 125th season of football Saturday with a resounding 57-10 win over Butler at Target Field in downtown Minneapolis.

Trey Lance made his debut at quarterback, the first freshman to start a season opener for NDSU. Lance responded by going 10-11 and throwing four touchdowns and added another two scores rushing.

Ty Brooks added 93 yards rushing and a touchdown, while two sophomore tight ends, Josh Babicz and Noah Gindorff scored their first collegiate touchdowns.

Jeff Kolpack and Dom Izzo recap the Bison victory and look ahead to the rest of the regular season for NDSU.
