OMAHA, Neb. — The North Dakota State baseball team rebounded from a 5-2 Game 1 loss by downing South Dakota State 6-2 in the back end of a Summit League baseball doubleheader Saturday at J.J. Isaacson Field.

Jack Simonsen had an RBI for the Bison in the first game. The Bison's other run came via Ben Tallman scoring on a wild pitch.

In Game 2, Brock Anderson had two hits with a run and two RBIs to lead NDSU. Simonsen, Peter Brookshaw, Jayse McLean and Charley Hesse each drove in one run. Max Loven (1-2) gave up two runs on five hits with two walks and three strikeouts to pick up his first victory this season.

The Bison (9-16, 7-7 SL) wrap up the three-game series with the Jackrabbits (15-14, 8-6) at 1 p.m. Sunday.
