FARGO — North Dakota State scored seven runs in both the second and sixth innings en route to a 20-7 victory over Purdue-Fort Wayne in Summit League baseball Saturday at Newman Outdoor Field.

Bennett Hostetler went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBIs, a double and a home run for the Bison. Carter Thompson went 4-for-4 with a run and four RBIs. Peter Brookshaw, Brock Anderson and Charley Hesse each drove in two runs.

The Bison (17-22, 13-13 SL) will take on the Mastodons (6-41, 1-25) at noon Sunday.
