FARGO-North Dakota State scored at least two runs in each of the first six innings en route to a 16-1 victory against Dakota State on Wednesday at Newman Outdoor Field.

Jayse McLean led the charge for the Bison (15-18), going 3-for-3 with a two-run triple, RBI single and solo home run. Drew Fearing and Carter Thompson each added a double and three RBIs.

Zach Smith (2-0) pitched three shutout innings with three hits and six strikeouts to earn the win for NDSU.
