FARGO-A mid-game outburst led the North Dakota State baseball team to a 9-1 win over Omaha in Summit League action on Friday.

The Bison scored two in the second inning, four in the fourth, and three in the fifth, to down the Mavericks.

Omaha scored its lone run on a Cole Thibodeau single in the top of the ninth.

Riley Johnson earned the win for North Dakota, allowing just two hits while striking out four and walking five in five innings of work.

Ben Hostetler led the Bison offense with three RBIs.
