FARGO — The 2020 recruiting class for the North Dakota State football team is starting to take shape. Four of the first five commitments in the class are from the area, including Ty Satter from Fargo Davies.

Ty Satter is the son of former Bison running back Tony Satter, who is part of the Bison Athletic Hall of Fame. Ty Satter committed to NDSU on May 16. The Bison had 28 known verbal commitments for the 2020 class through Oct 31.

NDSU is coming off a seventh NCAA Division I FCS national championship in the past eight seasons. This is the first recruiting class under Bison head coach Matt Entz, who took over the program after the national title game last January with Chris Klieman taking the head coaching job at Kansas State.

The following running log will be updated as verbal commitments happen:

North Dakota State College of Science offensive lineman Nick Radunz committed to NDSU on Oct. 31. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Radunz is from Becker, Minn. He is the brother of current Bison offensive tackle Dillon Radunz.

St. Thomas Academy's Joe Deyak has committed to the Bison on Oct. 23. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Deyak plays wide receiver and quarterback for St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minn.

Markesan (Wis.) lineman Bryce Friday committed to NDSU on Oct. 23. The 6-foot-4, 250-pound Friday plays on the offensive and defensive line for Markesan.

West Fargo Sheyenne running back Nathan Goldade committed to the Bison on Oct. 22. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Goldade missed his senior season with the Mustangs due to a knee injury. Goldade told WDAY's Dom Izzo on Hot Mic on 970-AM that he's a preferred walkon.

"There's nothing more that I wanted than to be a part of their program," Goldade told Izzo. "I finally got like a lifelong dream completed."

Fargo Shanley's Joe Kave committed to NDSU on Sept. 20. The 6-foot-1, 235-pound Kava plays on the offensive and defensive lines for the Deacons. His brother, Jake Kava, is a redshirt freshman who plays defensive end for the Bison.

Felix Anudike, from Lee's Summit, Mo., committed to the Bison on Sept. 12. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Anudike plays defensive end for Lee's Summit High School.

Demetrius Marshall, from Minneapolis, committed to NDSU on Aug. 8. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Marshall plays running back for Minneapolis Southwest High School.

RaJa Nelson, from Lakeville, Minn., committed to the Bison on Aug. 7. The 5-foot-10, 170-pound receiver played for Lakeville North.

Nolan Jacobs, a defensive lineman from Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, committed on Aug. 5. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound Jacobs also carried an offer from the University of South Dakota and a couple of Division I schools, according to Rivals.com.

Dominic Gonnella, from Valrico, Fla., committed to the Bison on July 27. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Gonnella plays running back at Bloomingdale High School. He goes to the same high school as fellow commit AJ Moss. Gonnella runs a 4.49 second in the 40-yard dash according to his Twitter account.

Pierre (S.D.) High School's Grey Zabel committed to the Bison on July 16. The 6-foot-5, 242-pound Zabel plays offensive and defensive line for Pierre.

Wayzata (Minn.) High School's Loshiaka Roques committed to the Bison on July 4. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Roques plays linebacker for Wayzata.

Sparta (Wis.) High School's Cole Wisniewski committed to NDSU on July 3. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Wisniewski plays quarterback and safety for Sparta High School. He's projected to play on defense for the Bison, potentially at outside linebacker.

River Falls (Wis.) High School's Joe Stoffel committed to the Bison on June 28. The 6-foot-4, 239-pound Stoffel is projected to play tight end for NDSU. He also plays linebacker for the River Falls Wildcats.

Neenah (Wis.) High School's Sam Jung committed to the Bison on June 27. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Jung plays defense back for Neenah High School.

Tyler Terhark committed to NDSU on June 26. The 6-foot-3 195-pound Terhark plays for West Fargo Sheyenne. He plays wide receiver and free safety for the Mustangs and is Sheyenne's first NDSU commit.

AJ Moss committed to NDSU on June 25. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Moss plays for Bloomingdale High School in Varlico, Fla., and is a defensive back and wide receiver.

Mount Vernon (S.D.) High School's Jesse Hastings committed to the Bison on June 25. The 6-foot, 230-pound Hastings plays running back and linebacker for Mount Vernon. Hastings rushed for 1,468 yards and 25 touchdowns last season.

Albert Lea (Minn.) High School's Hayden Johnston committed to NDSU on June 25. The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Johnston plays defensive end for Albert Lea.

Cavalier (N.D.) High School's Andre Carrier committed to the Bison on June 25. The 6-foot-5, 195-pound Carrier plays wide receiver for Cavalier.

Omaha (Neb.) North's Marques Sigle committed to NDSU on June 25. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Sigle plays wide receiver and defensive back for Omaha North.

Omaha (Neb.) Skutt's Tyson Gordon committed to the Bison on June 24. The 6-foot-3, 175-pound Gordon is projected to play safety for NDSU.

"Not a lot of people get the chance to play for the last seven out of eight national champions," Gordon told the Omaha World-Herald. "Coach (Matt) Entz, the head coach, was the main recruiter in the process. That shows that he really wanted me to play there. I'm a winner and what better school to go to."

Former Bison standout safety Christian Dudzik also played his high school football at Skutt.

Maryville (Mo.) High School's Jack Bram committed to the Bison on June 24. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Bram plays on the offensive and defensive line for Maryville.

Solon (Iowa) High School's Cam Miller committed to the Bison on June 24. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Miller plays defensive back and quarterback in high school.

Hillsboro-Central Valley's Oscar Benson committed to NDSU on June 23. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Benson is expected to play linebacker for the Bison.

Moorhead's Seth Anderson committed to the Bison on June 15. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Anderson is projected to play on the defensive line for NDSU.

Ada-Borup's Mason Miller committed to NDSU on May 30. The 6-foot-8, 240-pound Miller is expected to play offensive line for the Bison.

Fargo Davies' Ty Satter commited to the Bison on May 16, the first commitment in the 2020 class. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Satter is expected to play defensive back for NDSU.
