FARGO — North Dakota State added a linebacker to its 2021 football recruiting class, getting a verbal commitment from Becker (Minn.) High School's Brayden Weber, who announced his intention via Twitter on Thursday, Dec. 10.
Weber is the third commitment during December with the early signing period for Division I football about a week away. Treynor (Iowa) High School senior lineman Blake Sadr committed to the Bison on Sunday, Dec. 6. NDSU also received a December commitment from Marshall (Minn.) High School's Bryce Lance. Bryce Lance is the brother of former Bison quarterback Trey Lance.
The Bison have 23 commitments in the class.
Mandan (N.D.) defensive tackle Jaxon Duttenhefer was the first known commitment for the 2021 class, choosing the Bison on March 26. In the 2020 class, the first known commitment didn't come until mid-May.
