FARGO — No. 1-ranked North Dakota State earned a 39-28 victory against Central Arkansas on Saturday, Oct. 3, as the three-time defending Division I FCS national champion Bison played their lone game this fall due to the coronavirus pandemic.

NDSU senior offensive tackle Dillon Radunz played his final game with the team as he's going to forgo the Bison spring slate of games to prepare for the NFL Draft. Radunz learned after the game that he had been invited to the Senior Bowl, which considered the premier college all-star game for NFL prospects.

Bison sophomore quarterback Trey Lance may have also played his final game with the team if he decides to declare for the NFL Draft. Lance said after the game he hasn't made a decision on his future. The 6-foot-4, 226-pound Lance rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns against Central Arkansas. He also completed 15 of 30 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Lance was intercepted for the first time in college career, going 307 pass attempts without throwing and interception.

The game was played in front of 417 family members and friends of the participating teams due to COVID-19. There were 25 professional scouts also at the game.

NDSU is next scheduled to play against Missouri Valley Football Conference foe Youngstown State on Feb. 21 at the Fargodome. Below are images from the NDSU's lone game this spring against Central Arkansas.
