TOWSON, MD - The Towson Tiger football team has circled September 18, 2021 for a while.

Not just because the eight-time national champions from North Dakota State are coming to town, but simply because they are playing a home game at Johnny Unitas Stadium.

Towson opted out of the 2020 football season completely, opting not to play in the funky spring season. The Tigers have last played a home game November 23, 2019 when they lost to Elon 25-23.
