NEWTON, Kansas — The North Dakota State men’s golf team finished third at the Summit League Championship at Sand Creek Station Golf Course on Monday.

NDSU shot a 301 in the final round, finishing with a three-round total of 885. Denver won the team title with an 865 and Oral Roberts’ Jackson Howes won the individual title with a 206. Both Howes and Denver's team earned automatic berths to the NCAA National Championships.

NDSU's Lucas Johnson finished tied for seventh with a 220. Nate Adams, who shot a 76 in the final round, also had 11 birdies in the tournament and finished tied for 12th at 221.
