MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Marquette's Kate Gibson scored the only goal of the match, bringing home a 1-0 win over North Dakota State in double overtime on Friday.

Gibson scored on assists from Elsi Twombly and Rachel Johnson at 105:23. The Golden Eagles had a 19-5 advantage in shots and had 13 shots on goal to the Bison's three. NDSU goalkeeper Sofia Howe made 12 saves.

The Bison are still looking for their first win over the season at 0-6-1. They host Oral Roberts at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1.
