BROOKINGS, S.D. — South Dakota State carried the momentum of a late first-half goal into the second and blanked North Dakota State 3-0 on Friday in Summit League women's soccer.

SDSU's Marisa Schultz scored at 43:19 of the first half on an assist from Kaitlin Zabel and the Jacks' Maya Hansen built on that about 17 minutes later, making it 2-0 with an unassisted goal at 60:10. Late in the game, Avery Murdzek set up Cecilia Limongi for a goal at 87:44.

SDSU held a 16-3 advantage in shots and a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.

The Bison dropped to 2-2 in the Summit League and 2-8-1 overall. They play at South Dakota at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17.
