FARGO — A six-run second inning all but sealed the deal as Iowa State defeated North Dakota State 10-4 on Saturday at Tharaldson Park.

With a run in already, the Cyclones' Mikayla Ramos tripled in two more runs, scored on a passed ball and Sami Williams hit a two-run homer.

NDSU got on the board in the first on Sam Koehn's two-run double and Avery Wysong hit a two-run homer in the third.

The teams play again at noon Sunday.
