FARGO — North Dakota State swept Western Illinois for the second time in two nights on Saturday.

The Bison won 25-14, 25-18 and 26-24.

The Leathernecks were limited to a .051 hitting percentage and the Bison defeated them for the 14th time in their last 15 matches.

NDSU's Ali Hinze had 12 kills, Syra Tanchin had 10 and Bella Lien had seven. Setter Kelley Johnson had 37 assists and 10 digs, Taylor Quan had 16 digs and Kaylee Hanger had 11 digs.

The Bison improved to 8-4 while the Leathernecks are now 0-13. The Bison play Omaha at 7 p.m. Friday in Fargo.
