Katie Marie Boeder and Richard Hazlette Brayden, Fort Collins, Colo., announce their engagement.
Parents are Kevin and Lynae Boeder, Kindred, N.D.; and William and Karen Brayden, Fort Collins.
Katie graduated in 2002 from Central Cass High School, Casselton, N.D., and in 2006 she graduated from the Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in mass communications. She is an assistant director of development in the College of Applied Human Sciences at Colorado State University, Fort Collins, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in agriculture science at CSU.
Richard graduated in 2001 from Fort Collins High School and in 2006 graduated from CSU with a bachelor's degree in construction management. He is the operations manager at Brayden Automation, Loveland, Colo.
An Aug. 18 wedding is planned at Lincoln Center, followed by a reception at the Hilton, both in Fort Collins.
