FARGO - The 10th annual Roers Keller Williams Chili Feed for United Way brought in nearly $70,000 Tuesday, Sept. 24, according to a United Way spokeswoman.
More than 50 roasters of chili were available for the more than 900 people who attended the event at 4402 2nd Ave. S.

The $69,828 raised is nearly $20,000 more than this year’s $50,000 goal, and a 52% increase over the funds raised last year, Kristina Hein-Landin said. More than $46,000 was raised in 2018.
Since the event began, nearly $285,000 has been raised for the United Way, Hein-Landin said.
This year’s “VIP Choice” winner was from Legends Sports Bar & Grill. The chili was called “The Legendary People’s Choice.”

The “People’s Choice” winner was from Fargo Freeze PeeWee A Blue. It was called “Bloody Mary Chili.”
