Ulteig hires Holkesvig as a land surveyor

Ulteig has hired Greg Holkesvig as a land surveyor in land services in the Fargo office.

Holkesvig most recently worked as a project land surveyor at SRF Consulting Engineers, Minot, N.D. He has more than 16 years of experience in land surveying, with additional expertise in project management and preparing and interpreting legal descriptions.

He is licensed in Idaho, Utah, Colorado and Montana, and is pursuing a North Dakota license.

Dawson Insurance hires two in commercial lines

Dawson Insurance, Fargo, has hired Dana Gary as a commercial lines account manager and Brandi Hedin as a commercial lines producer.

Gary has worked for 27 years in the insurance industry, 10 years in a State Farm agency and the balance of her career with American Family Insurance as a casualty and physical damage adjuster. She attended Minnesota State University Moorhead and recently moved back to the Fargo-Moorhead area from Denver.

Hedin has more than seven years of sales experience and was previously employed as a sales representative with Johnson Bros. Liquor Co. of Minnesota. She earned a bachelor's degree in community health and a minor in mass communications from MSUM.

Northwestern Mutual hires two in Fargo

Northwestern Mutual, Fargo, has hired Jeff Dehne as a disability income specialist and Nicole Kressin as director of recruitment.

Dehne, a native of Fargo, earned a bachelor's degree in education from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Kressin was previously a national talent adviser at TMI Hospitality, Fargo. She is originally from Breckenridge, Minn., and received a master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Chamber hires two, promotes one

The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber has hired Mickayla Thompson as administrative services coordinator and Samantha Gust as program coordinator for Leadership Fargo Moorhead West Fargo. Elly Peterson was promoted to program coordinator for the Young Professionals Network.

Thompson previously worked for 10 years as an office specialist at Sanford Health.

Gust earned a bachelor's degree in sociology with a minor in psychology from the University of North Dakota. She previously worked for the Community Violence Intervention Center in Grand Forks as the community and evaluation specialist.

Peterson has worked for The Chamber since 2013, first as the public affairs intern and then as administrative services coordinator. She earned a bachelor's degree in health communications with a minor in public relations from North Dakota State University.

TRN Abstract & Title hires closing agent

TRN Abstract & Title, Fargo, has hired Kathy Stopple as a closing agent.

Stopple has worked in the mortgage industry for 20 years and has been a closing agent for the past two years.

She is a licensed closing agent in North Dakota and Minnesota.

CoreLink Administrative Solutions hires two

CoreLink Administrative Solutions, Fargo, has hired Steve Scott as a human resources business partner and Alisha Balzum as a test engineer.

Scott received a master's degree in human resource management from Central Michigan University. He has worked in the human resources industry for 20 years, most recently at North Dakota State University and at the Fargo Veteran Affairs Health Care System. He is a veteran, retiring from the Air Force in 2012 after 25 years of active-duty service.

Balzum attended Minnesota State Community and Technical College, where she earned a diploma in medical office administration. She previously worked for more than three years at Noridian Mutual Insurance Co.

Morlock joins Village as family-based therapist

The Village Family Service Center has hired Kalea Morlock as a family-based therapist in Fargo.

Morlock earned a bachelor's degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master's degree in social work at the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She completed her internship at Lakeland Mental Health Center, Moorhead.

Three new employees join Eide Bailly in Fargo

Michael Smith, Rachel Mitchell and Nicole Stolle have joined Eide Bailly's office in Fargo.

Smith is a reimbursement senior manager. He has a master's degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Stolle is an administrative assistant for the banking industry. She attended the University of Montana and is originally from Missoula, Mont.

Mitchell is an administrative assistant in the audit department. She is a graduate of MSUM.

Kundinger joins Dakota Medical Foundation

Sam Kundinger has joined Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, as director of bold giving initiatives.

Kundinger previously led business development at Family HealthCare and is experienced in fundraising, grant writing, youth leadership, strategic planning and program development.

She is a graduate of Minnesota State University-Moorhead with a bachelor's degree in health services administration.

Narveson appointed commercial glass mgr.

Fargo Glass and Paint Co. has appointed Paul Narveson as commercial glass manager in Fargo.

Narveson has a construction background including working for the past 14 years in commercial glass and glazing. He will be relocating from the FGP Bismarck branch to the Fargo location.

Laney's hires Fosse, Tangen as service techs

Scott Fosse and Lucas Tangen have joined Laney's, Fargo, as commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning service technicians.

Fosse has more than 12 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and Tangen has more than 11 years of experience.

Three promoted at Choice Financial Fargo

Becky Cronin, Matt Beneke and Seth Farkas have been promoted at Choice Financial, Fargo.

Cronin was promoted to director of transaction services and has been with Choice Financial since 2006 serving in various roles, most recently as the lead transaction services specialist. She has an associate degree in financial and credit services administration from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead, and a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Mary, Bismarck.

Beneke joined Choice Financial in 2012, and was promoted to deposit and

e-services specialist. His previous position was a frontline customer service representative. Beneke graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in finance.

Farkas was promoted to loan assistant and joined Choice Financial in 2013 as a frontline customer service representative. Farkas has retail management experience and has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Beyond Shelter hires Rizzo as developer

Joseph Rizzo has joined Beyond Shelter, Fargo, as a developer.

Rizzo has more than 19 years of experience in the residential mortgage and finance industry.

He will work on the development of new affordable housing projects to serve low- to moderate-income households.

Cass County Sheriff's Office promotes three

The Cass County Sheriff's Office has promoted Jacob Murray and Kristal Kraft to the rank of corporal and Heather Hames to patrol deputy.

Murray and Kraft have been assigned to the Cass County Jail. Murray began his career in 2009, and Kraft started her career in 2005, both as correctional officers at the Cass County Jail.

Hames began her career at the Cass County Sheriff's Office in 2006, when she was assigned to the Cass County Jail.

Appareo names Reich senior design engineer

Mike Reich has joined Appareo Systems in Fargo as a senior electrical design engineer.

Reich earned a bachelor's degree at North Dakota State University, a master's degree from Penn State and his Ph.D. from NDSU, all in electrical engineering.

He is a native of Cleveland, N.D., and previously worked at Phoenix International and the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering, both in Fargo.

Intelligent InSites hires Demke, Martinez

Intelligent InSites, Fargo, has hired Shanna Demke as a software implementation specialist and Justin Martinez as a service technician.

Demke was previously an account representative at Netrix IT in Fargo and has a bachelor's degree in international studies from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Martinez previously worked in the information technology department at East Texas Medical Center.

Sojka named ND/Minn. development manager

The Prairie Family Business Association has named Mike Sojka as the North Dakota/Minnesota membership development manager.

A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Sojka was leader of the Northern Plains Evangelistic Association for 13 years. He also has experience as a coach and minister.
