WEST FARGO - One of the largest apartment complexes in the tri-state area has a new owner.
The 330-unit complex at 2915 Bluestem Drive was sold by Adams Development on Feb. 1, according to David Campbell, president of Fargo-based Campbell Properties.
The building was purchased by a group of investors that includes Campbell and several other partners, he said. Campbell Properties is now managing the complex.
Campbell declined to comment on how long the sale was in the works or the final purchase price.
The change also gave the building a new name, switching from Dakota on Veterans to Latitude 46 - a name inspired by West Fargo's latitude coordinates.
Construction is complete at the complex, which has one-, two- and three-bedroom units and boasts underground parking, a swimming pool, two hot tubs and a sauna. Campbell said about half of the units have been leased.
"It's beautiful," he said. "It's probably the nicest property that we would have under management."
