FARGO — American Airlines is introducing a new direct flight from Fargo to Phoneix, the company announced in a Tuesday, July 23, news release.

The airline will start selling the flights out of Hector International Airport on July 29, with service starting Dec. 18.

The announcement comes as the airline adds four new destinations out of its western hub at Sky Harbor International Airport. The other new destinations are Fort Lauderdale International Airport in Florida, Colorado Springs Airport and Cincinnati International Airport in Hebron, Ky.

American Airlines said the new flights were introduced for fliers who travel to Phoenix during the winter months.
