JK Property Partners in Fargo has hired John Liilestol as a buyer's agent. Liilestol, who is the director of study finance at Lillestol Research, will be a buyer's agent within the team at JK Property Partners and Keller Williams Roers Realty.
Before joining JK Property Partners, Liilestol earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.
Tupa, Caspers join Choice Financial
Jacob Tupa and Mark Caspers recently joined Choice Financial in Fargo.
Tupa will be director of analytics and integration. Tupa brings over three years of banking experience, with prior experience in program management, process improvement and data analysis. He earned a bachelor's degree in management information systems and a minor in business administration from Augustana University.
Caspers will be an information technology specialist. He brings 17 years of banking and insurance experience to Choice. He earned an associate degree from North Dakota State School of Science in pre-education, and a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Taylor Shuck joins Dawson Insurance
Taylor Shuck recently joined Dawson Insurance in Fargo as a personal lines insurance adviser. Shuck, a recent graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in communication studies and former marketing intern with the Minnesota Vikings, previously worked in customer service for a State Farm Insurance agency.

The Fargo Center for Dermatology has hired Nikki Welk as a physician assistant.
Welk earned a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She specializes in in medical, procedural and cosmetic dermatology.

Pediatric Therapy Partners hires three
Lexi Kahnk, Jessie Schwanke and Valerie "Val" Hoff recently joined Pediatric Therapy Partners in Fargo.
Kahnk was hired as an occupational therapist. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish language and literature from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a master of science degree in occupational therapy from the University of South Dakota. She has worked with special needs children through high school and into college, and completed fieldwork in early intervention.
Schwanke earned a master of science degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of North Dakota and a bachelor of science degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in speech language and hearing sciences. She has experience working with children who demonstrate concerns in the areas of articulation, phonological processes, childhood receptive and expressive language, literacy, and fluency. She has experience working in the public school system serving children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Hoff studied legal technology at Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Moorhead. She worked in the legal field for 15 years and has worked in medical billing for almost 10 years.

Moen earned a medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee and her fellowship in neonatology at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She is board-certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, and specializes in neonatology.
Sims earned a graduate degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. She is a board-certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program. She specializes in neurosurgery and is accepting new patients.

McNary graduated from Jamestown (N.D.) College with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and earned a juris doctor degree with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law, Grand Forks. His practice is centered primarily on civil litigation, focusing on commercial, business and collection cases, as well as real estate matters, including foreclosures. Before joining Serkland Law Firm in 2010, McNary was a law clerk for the East Central Judicial District in Fargo.

Christy Mehus was promoted to key account executive-strategic partnerships. Mehus started with Discovery Benefits in 2014 as a senior account manager-strategic partnerships and was then promoted to manager, account management-strategic partnerships. Prior to Discovery Benefits, she was a vice president of operations and a communications and marketing manager. Mehus earned a bachelor's degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Stephan Noll was promoted to transition specialist-COBRA. Noll came to Discovery Benefits in 2014 as a participant services specialist. Before Discovery Benefits, he worked in shipping and receiving at Dakota Drug Inc.
Jocelyn McCarthy was promoted to sales director. McCarthy started with Discovery Benefits in 2013 as an implementation manager. Before Discovery Benefits, she spent time as a financial adviser and an insurance producer. McCarthy earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from North Dakota State University.

Roy is a quality control analyst. She is a 2016 graduate of North Dakota State University, where she earned a doctorate degree in microbiology.

Bremer Insurance has hired Kim Sharpe as commercial insurance representative in Fargo.
Sharpe brings to Bremer several years of financial services experience. She worked at Diversified Crop Insurance before her most recent position as a customer support representative at Superior Insurance. Sharpe is licensed to offer property and casualty coverage in North Dakota.
Hjelmstad named Red Cross chief communications officer
FARGO-Gretchen Hjelmstad has been named the chief communications officer of the American Red Cross, Dakotas Region in Fargo.
In this role, Hjelmstad will work with regional staff and volunteers in North Dakota, South Dakota and northwest Minnesota to coordinate communication, public and media relations, and marketing strategies for the Red Cross. Before taking this position, Hjelmstad was the executive producer and, most recently, the assistant news director at Valley News Live in Fargo.
