GRAND FORKS-Two advisers to President Donald Trump will headline a North Dakota Petroleum Council meeting later this month.
The group, which represents the state's oil and gas industry, will hold its next annual meeting expected to draw more than 350 people Sept. 26-28 at the Alerus Center, 1200 42nd St. S., in Grand Forks.
NDPC officials announced Thursday, Sept. 14, that keynote speakers will include Vincent DeVito, the U.S. Department of Interior's Counselor on Energy Policy, and Stephen Moore, a policy adviser for Trump, Fox News commentator and economist for the Heritage Foundation.
ConocoPhillips Senior Economist Helen Currie will also speak at the meeting that will feature more than 20 panelists and speakers.
"We are thrilled to welcome not one, but two advisors to President Trump's administration to our annual meeting and look forward to hearing more about that vision," NDPC President Ron Ness said in a written statement.
Registration is $25 for students, $250 for members and $500 for non-members.
