WEST FARGO — Doosan Bobcat announced plans to hire greater than 100 new full-time production employees across its North Dakota manufacturing facilities, Tuesday, Oct. 6.

The equipment manufacturer cited continuing investment in its manufacturing and growth in the industry as driving factors in the decision to expand.

"Our success is powered by our people. We see great promise in the North Dakota workforce, which we believe is a key advantage as we seek to grow our business and contribute to the communities where we operate."

The announcement followed Doosan Bobcat's celebration of National Manufacturing Day, which is an "annual recognition event designed to showcase modern manufacturing technology and careers," the release stated.

"Recognition of Manufacturing Day is the perfect time to communicate these great job opportunities," Vice President of Human Resources Nicol Winkelman added. Doosan Bobcat is North Dakota's largest manufacturer and employs more than 3.300 people in the state and 4,000 across North America.

In addition to North Dakota, Doosan Bobcat is adding jobs at manufacturing facilities in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In the past year, the firm invested more than $17 million in facility and process improvements at its facility in Gwinner, N.D.
