MOORHEAD, MINN-- Minnesota State Chancellor, Devinder Malhotra, stopped in Moorhead for a roundtable discussion.
The subject of the day was Workplace development in our region.
Specifically how M-S-U-M and M-State can help meet employment needs.
They also discussed exploring possible partnerships between businesses and schools to create a "workforce pipeline" for our area.
Malhotra says, we're in a great location for those partnerships to thrive, "You have an ecosystem of higher education, here our two institutions are a part of it, with over 30,000 people enrolled in them and that bodes very well for economic and social vibrancy of the area."
The next stop on the tour is in Mankato.
