FARGO - Construction on the third building in the Veterans Square mall at the corner of 40th Avenue South and Veterans Boulevard is moving along well, with the new building already more than 60 percent leased, a senior official with Lexstar Construction said Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Building No. 3, which faces south towards 40th Avenue South, will be ready for tenants in March or April, said Kyle Anderson, Lexstar’s vice president in charge of construction.

“We’ve got in that particular building a Dominos Pizza, Sanford (Health) is opening up a clinic and taking up quite a bit of the space, and an independent coffee shop,” Anderson said. “It’s more than 60 percent leased already. It’s coming along really well.”

Veterans Square Building 1 is fully leased, while Building 2 has a little bit of space yet, Anderson said.

Plans call for the start of construction on a fourth building in 2019, Anderson said. That building is being envisioned as having four stories, with 7,500 square feet per floor.

“It’s coming along very well. We’re very happy with the progress of it,” Anderson said. “We’ve been able to get some really good tenants. It’s a really good mix.”

Lexstar Construction is in charge of construction, but other investors own the buildings, Anderson said.
